What do I need to get started?
We will first need to test your product and film material. If the product you are wanting to test is already in commerce then you can send us live containers. If the product is new then you may ask your manufacturer to send us the required samples.
All powders, liquids or gels will need to be tested for compatibility with our current tooling. Special tooling may need to be ordered to ensure accuracy of fill weights. The product sample size needed for testing varies depending on the fill volume required and the type of machine necessary to run your product. The range will vary from 1 lb to 4lbs of bulk powder, liquid or gel. During the testing we will verify the minimum packet dimensions to accommodate your fill volume. Once this has been assessed we can begin looking at custom sizes that will fit your marketing strategy.
What if I do not have foil materials?
If you do not have foil material we can service all of your graphic and printing needs. If you choose your own graphic designer we can provide them with the template necessary to begin the design. Print proofs will need to be verified by ELIS before going to print. This will allow us to verify that the print will be compatible with our machinery.
What if I already have my own foils printed?
All foils will need to be tested prior to production. We can supply the film to ensure that the material is compatible, or you can have your current provider send us their spec sheet for the film material they plan to use. Film material can be a very tricky and may compromise the cosmetic appeal of the finished packet. There are many different UV coatings and finishes associated with printing, making testing the only certain method for ensuring a quality end product.
What is your turn around time?
Production typically begins within a week of having received all materials necessary for the completion of the job. The turn time of the job is dependent on the quantity we will be running.
How do I size my packets?
The product sample size needed for testing varies depending on the fill volume required and the type of machine necessary to run your product. The range will vary from 1 lb to 4lbs of bulk powder, liquid or gel. During the testing we will verify the minimum packet dimensions to accommodate your fill volume.
